I will be holding a tech morning on Saturday 16th Nov. starting a 10am.
My Eircode is W91 V580.
I hope to strip a Spitfire engine on the morning.
Please give an indication if you hope to attend, just to give an indication of numbers for "Tea".

Full marks to Luke and Liz for hosting the tech morning last Saturday, it's that time of year with short days and inclement weather it's great to see support for the hosts and also it's great to see a good turnout. First off Luke gave us an update on his other project - the pre war Triumph Dolomite (?1938) and then on to the Spitfire engine which he hoped would be a suitable replacement for the smoky one currently in place.
A word to the wise for these tech mornings is to come prepared with overalls and your 'Ed China' orange gloves which will allow you to pitch in for the oily bits, and in the case of Luke's place it offers insulation from the polar conditions of the Kildare / Wicklow location.

Ask a busy man to do a job- yet another project Luke has taken on as a member of the Pre War Triumph Club, this is a gem he found in the RIAC archives in Dawson Street

Luke unfortunately I don't think I can make it. Sorry. I'd love to go so I'm going to continue to see if I can swing it but dont include me for tea. If I manage it at late notice I'll forgo the tea and grub
