Welcome to the TCOC Paul - don't see where you are based and also you don't say what car you have - no matter hope you get what you want from being a member, I have been a member for more than 15 years and have enjoyed all the events I have attended so I would encourage you to do the same - hope to meet you soon and if you are based near Dublin the monthly meeting at the end of each month except December is a good opportunity to touch base
