I think we would all agree that the 2019 Xmas Party was a resounding success. On behalf of all who attended and enjoyed the festivities, I would like to particularly thank Cecil for pulling out all the stops at short notice and producing a magnificent slide show that kept everybody entertained through the Event. To Tony for his usual brilliance as quizmaster extraordinaire, To Luke who managed to keep the entertainment going after the quiz and for raising enough revenue to pay for the excellent food supplied by Brannigans. And finally to everybody who arrived with a spot prize as requested to enhance the Xmas Party atmosphere.
Well done everybody and Happy Christmas!
Next event New Years Eve Run and distribution of the Herald Winter Edition
Didn't have my usual early start but arrived at 7:15 some were upstairs and some downstairs - but heres the evidence
A good night was had by all - so happy christmas to one and all - and see you for the New Years Eve Run !!

They will start off as inlets and finish up exhausts.
The details:
What: Xmas party 2019 in Brannigan's, Cathedral Street
When: Saturday next Dec 7 from 7.00pm upstairs
How: Plenty of public transport options - check what's best for you!
Food: A selection of finger food will be provided by in house catering
Raffle: The traditional raffle will return this year. Don't forget to bring a spot prize! Proceeds go towards catering costs!
Entertainment: Tony has kindly undertaken to run a quiz so be sure to bring a pen!
The Manifolds may play a tune or two later in the evening!
If time and technology permits, we may have an audio visual treat during the event.
Attendance: Assumptions have had to be made regarding catering etc. If you definitely can't make the event, perhaps you'd let that be known through this posting.
Wishing everybody a fun night ahead on Saturday and on behalf of all who'll be attending, a word of thanks to those members who go the extra mile to make the evening the festive highlight of the year!
