We cant cycle

Hi Folks,

My wider family and I are doing a Galway to Dublin cycle in 3 weeks to raise some money for St Francis Hospice. 7 of us over 3 nights, with others in support roles.

Recently we lost a little nephew and his great grandfather and both were supported by the Hospice in Raheny. Hence, we would like to support them in turn.

I'm looking for a little support if possible to reach our E2300 goal. We are doing well but not there yet.

None of us are cyclists. In fact most of us really cant cycle. My old trike wouldnt make it so I'm getting the lend of a shiny bike with a dangerous saddle. Oh, what they put up with!

    My wife says thankfully I wasnt in lycra. Imagine what that would look like....front page Cycling Ireland stuff.

    Folks, just a short note to say thanks for your support and very generous contributions. I think the figure stands at around E4,300. I will post a picture when I figure out how. Today (Monday) is very  much a rest day, needed. Driving older cars is much easier that driving older fellows. Many thanks again folks. Kevin

     Bring plenty of Vaseline Kev. And don't wash your hole with regular soap. it causes saddle itch. Use Dove. Best of luck and there's something gone in to the bucket.

    Bucket getting very heavy lads, thanks. Serious training for the big cycle this week. WD40 has applied to the trike and new mirror fitted. One of the nieces has suggested the need for leg waxing. I'm not sure about that as I'm running short of hair in general.I might have to consult our Mr Flood for advice. Anyway, all donations are noted and very welcome. 2 weeks and counting. Kevin
