Sad to see that the Roadster Factory in the USA has been destroyed by a fire,I'm sure it'll be a massive loss to Triumph and MG owners around the Globe who would of supported the buissness.

Good lord! Awful stuff!
Niall, that's a massive massive loss, god knows some parts are in short supply and this doesn't help.
The only small positive is it might spur Members to check their cars/ chargers/ petrol and paint and aerosol storage are all as safe as can be made.
Also to check your insurance cover for fire - is it the house or the car or mebbe if you have more than one( and Niall, we know you have at least Three......at least....) to check they all insured for fire, because if one goes up and burns another which is not insured you can bet the Insurance Company which was delighted to cover you and take your loot might not cover the uninsured loss - Just Sayin, Just Sayin........
There is another consideration: eventually there will be a shortage of specific spares, new old stock exhausted, and the re manufacturing cost not economical, I know there is a major shortage of core units, boxes, o/ds, engines, diffs, panels for Triumphs and many other classics, Dolomites very difficult, Hairdresser wings, bonnets, which will hit restos particularly.
its a very sad pickie wickie, even for the MGB.
just a thought, Be Insurance Aware - PiBren
Bren you can never be aware enough it's only when the inevitable happens that you realise what a mess your in and the Insurance company wriggling every way it can to avoid paying what you thought they should.
