We are beginning to emerge from haze of COVID and not before time. As an event based club , the last 15 months has been deremental to the club . It's now time to get the jump cables out and get the club going again. I don't have a crystal but I can't see there been any static display events in Ireland 2021, so it is up to us to entertain ourselves. We should have plenty of practice, cos we've had to do it for the last year. Chairman TRBren mentioned that there would be a bank holiday breakfast, he can post the details, but as previous events coordinator and with the current one stuck in lockdown, I propose the following:
Sunday 23, 10 am . Venue : Percy place. Think of this as our New year run but in May. We can meet as usual on Percy Place. There is a Deli at the top of the street, where they serve breakfast burrito and tea/Coffee
This should feed the most fussy eaters, even you Niall.
Sunday May 30 time 10 am. Venue: Meeting in the Carpark of the Merry Ploughman Pub, where we will wait until DC and Angie arrives, where we will drive up over the featherbed, through Sally Gap and down into Laragh. We can stop here for Coffee , admire all the arses in Lyrca . Then head home over the Wicklow gap.
Sunday June 13time 9 am. Venue : meeting in the Spawell carpark, head down the road to Hollywood cafe for a breakfast . If we can arrive there by 9.45, they will open specifically early to accommodate the TRoops. This is the traditional day for a club meeting, the car parat the Spawell is big enough to accommodate all.
Ok, I hear Tony saying, what about DNS. We have June 20 and every other Sunday open. This is your club and your club needs you now to get it back on the road. It does not take much to organise a run. Just add your suggestion below and I can add it. A field TRip to Wexford may be on the cards. I know DC, Angie and Cecil are heading to Kerry. Lovely place to drive a classic.
Also we have plenty of Thursday available, but for sweet Jesus , have us meeting at 7.30.

I agree PifuckmycrystalballBren, but look on the bright side, all us Dads got to spend Father's Day with their loved ones. I was on me own
I got the best of both worlds. Forced my loved ones into the SE and went for a spin to Oldbridge. Weather bloody lovely. They SAID they enjoyed it. Through gritted teeth.
Tom what weather forecast were you looking 😳at .
The Sunny South East/Ireland's Ancient East comprises a wide variety of TCOC event opportunities covering both historic and cultural areas of interest. I'm working on a list of possibilities in this regard and hope to have these prepared for the meeting on the 27th.
Do you have Jackie ?
I miss Jack. I even miss Jackie. Where have all the gobshites gone ?
Weather for Sunday does not look Gr8 , the sun will probably split the stones, but in conjunction with the committee (?) we will call it for Sunday. We will postpone it for another day. As it is Father's Day , you can spend it at home with your life draining children. The mothers on the other hand wouldn't minded getting soaked .
Rumour has it , to be confirmed by a member of the committee, that we may have a meeting this month. It's on a need to know basis , and we don't need to know.
Rumour also has it, that Chopper is working on a list of potential runs down in the sunny south east.
Boy, did I get the weather forecast right
If we have a meeting they will be looking for subs. Say nuthin Tom
