This is not Betws y Coed……

 

Had the pleasure of hillwalking in Wales recently and came upon a familiar sight - a peTRol station the TRoops used to stop off at in the " good old days".....or evenings to be pedantic; we was normally returning from another hugely enjoyable weekend at the TRRegister IWE, and needed to tank up( she's drinking juice) - well, the Sixes did......
They were wonderful days and nights, not a care in the world, except where the next Carling or joke was  coming from.....but both arrived in double quick time and were indeed better than the previous.......life was very very good, halcyon sweet summer days ......gone, gone, gone.......forever..........and I wonder why.......

sadly not just the passage of time, but the passage of friendship
