Hi Everyone,
I'm hosting a technical morning next Saturday 24th Feb, 10am at my house just outside Dunshaughlin, Eircode C15YA62
I have a number of projects on the go
* Diagnose TR6 not starting.
* Replace Valley Gasket in TR7V8
* Re-fit engine/gearbox in TR7 Coupe (might not be quite ready for this)
Tea, coffee, buns and craic... All welcome.

A cancellation of arrangements at my end saw me able to go to John's gig albeit a bit late hence you dont see me in G's customary group photo, when I arrived around 11:15 I heard the 6 burst into life and although G's other photo shows Al wearing overalls with tool in hand (so to speak) it was the foresight of Niall P to bring a 6 Fuel pump from his vast inventory of 6 parts (its rumoured that he could supply Rimmers with the amount of 6 stuff he has) he also performed a post mortem on the pump that was removed from the 6 and his veredict; "its fu
cked". It was then time for John to outline the other jobs for completion on the 7 and the 7V8 and that worked up a thirst and coffee/tea and the excellent home baking of Margaret was savoured, so regretably the jobs have been shelved for either another time or John will have to do them himself
Trish might be trading in the Spit
Looks like Niall is negotiating a price for the pump now in the 6
Now thats what I call an easy access PRV
Engine and Gearbox for the 7
More 7 bits
Yet more 7 bits, ah come on John this is a total reassembly job
On to the 7V8 - here's the part fresh out of the box
but the carb assembly has to come off to fit the part properly so nothing leaks !
Note the Blue 'Red' Book on boot of 7V8 and at one stage Ken beckoned me over to examine the entries - his concern was that everyone present did not come in a TRiumph and even one member arrived on BIKE no less - is this a record ?
And Yes DC was there.
So we got every thing Tea Coffee Buns and more and especially Craic sure why would you be going to Bristol for Bike Shows !!!
Apologies, Al, to be fair you are the only one working......amongst a bunch of posers! But, where's Wally, aka DC?
"No show DC" or at work under the Six?
D.C was there for the buns
I believe a "happy ending" for the Six, we'll done TRoops, apologies on self and Dan non attendance - at the Bristol Bike Show.
Hey, Al - SMILE!
Most enjoyable Technical morning, gratitude 🙏 to John and his family. Slainte Gerry G
Shiny happy people (mind you Al's not looking too pleased??
