Thanks Pat for organising the run. It was great to meet everybody again. Great breakfast and a lovely spot.
Great turnout today and glad we all enjoyed the venue and the run. Thanks for all the positive feedback!
We might consider Chester Beattys for future events in the area. I'll raise some options at Sunday's meeting.
Well done Pat for organising and Stephen for choosing the route, lovely drive, and the weather held out which was a bonus
Great day today most enjoyable. Lovely food and brilliant roads 👌

Hello folks and Happy St Patrick's Day ☘️
Looking forward to seeing you and your motors in the Garden County at 10 tomorrow.
Following brekkie at Chesters, lots of parking out the back BTW, I have a nice loop planned around some lovely Wicklow roads.
We'll head south out of Ashford, over M11 and into Rathnew, through the roundabout then pass the graveyard and right at the lights.
Take the first exit at the roundabout and onto Hawkstown road, stay on this all the way up to the Beehive.
Cross over the M11 and head towards the National Botanic gardens on the L1113.
We will take a sharp right before the gardens onto Deputy's Pass, then left at the junction onto the Rathdrum road.
We will head into Rathdrum, take a right onto Lower Street at the bottom of the village and then right towards Laragh, nice twisty bits on this one with a few dips so take it handy.
In Laragh we'll take a right onto the R755 and head towards Roundwood. At Churchmount just before Roundwood we go right onto the R764, this is one of my favourite roads, it takes us by the Varty Reservoir and back down some nice twisty bits into Ashford. It's a little over an hour or so. Those heading back to Dublin could continue on through Roundwood staying on the 755 and back to Kilmac and the N11, it's up to you.
Weather is looking ok too.
Click here to see the route and print it out if you wish.
Huge thanks to Stephen for his knowledgeable assistance on this event!
