Meeting at Spa Hotel Lucan 9am for breakfast. Leaving at 10 for spin to the Seven Wonders of Fore. Lovely buns and Coffee ☕️ in historic Coffee shop. Jane has invited us for an overdue return visit.

It's a beautiful part of the world, no wonder I couldn't wait to get out of it. Good to see the events based club getting back to events.

As said already it was great to get back out together as a Club with all Members enjoying each other's company,Craic was mighty a Thick Skin was needed by all even Jane and her assistant at the Cafe thought we were Hilarious and joined in with the Craic,Great Day.

Was great to hear the laughter again that has been missed for so long. We had a very informative guided tour. One of the wonders of Fore is about water from a well there that doesn't boil. Great story related to us all , its about a young lad who put some water from the well into his car. The car was always giving him trouble breaking down and overheating. The story goes, after he put the water from the well in the radiator, he never had any more trouble with it. Unfortunately we had no 5 gallon containers with us yesterday.
Jane in the coffee shop was extremely grateful to everyone and said we are always very welcome there. She too enjoyed all the laughs and craic we were having.
Well organised by Derek and Angela. All attendees were presented with a souvenir pin badge. Nice touch for St. Patricks day Angela, thank you.

What we lacked in numbers we certainly made up for in laughter 😃. Great to catch up with everyone today. It started of with an excellent breakfast in the lovely Spa Hotel. Followed by a lovely spin to Fore on some great roads (even the two SL500s were able to keep up ).
We had our own personal tour guide with fascinating information on Fore. Then it was into the coffee shop where Jane provided us with a selection of delish cakes buns and Coffee.
Pity a few more members couldn't make it today maybe next time ?.
Even managed to catch up with the grandkids.

What a great run today. Starting with breakfast in Spa hotel where we were presented with St Patricks Day badges ( thanks Angela very thoughtful) before setting off. Huge thanks go to Derek and Angela who organised the outing.

FYI.....I have recieved a text confirming time and venue for the Maynooth pararde.
9.30am at the Spa Hotel to leave hotel at 10am. for old cars to lead the Parade inMaynooth at 11am.
I will forward to Luke so that he can imform the members .
Thanks for the heads up Sean. We will have some different cars to look at there. We will avoid Maynooth on route .
