St Patrick’s Day Event

New Cyril Fry Railway Museum in Malahide

At this point, the following outline plan is envisaged:

9.30 Meet at Gourmet Food Parlour for Breakfast or Coffee

11/11.30 Drive a few kilometres to the Casino and park up at public car park (Paid I think)

12 noon Self guided Tour ( Group rate €6) if we get 15 people

Coffee afterwards perhaps in the Grand Hotel ( plenty parking)

I will confirm all details shortly but at this stage just looking for continued expressions of interest. Please add your name to the list.

A possible alternative due to weather or any traffic restrictions is to park and base ourselves in the Grand - Breakfast and Coffee available

Thanks

Pat

  • Great stuff so far lads!

    What's everybody else up to?

  • I sense a lot of picnics will replace our usual events for the forseeable!
Dont forget to post all pickies of your various activities.
Might be worth considering a picnic for Easter Monday - all things considered if course!

Meantime lets get through the next few weeks with good health and safety.

  • Good idea Kevin might give the 6 a bit of a spin . Flask of tea and sambo in car .

  • Well I'm taking the spitfire out for a spin. I just put it back together on Saturday after its new gearbox installation so it also needs an outing before the rain. I promise I won't hug any strangers when in overdrive.

  • That's the "spirit" Nialler. I need feedback like this for a special "pullout" edition of The Herald that will follow the current isolation.

  • Happy St Patrick' Day to all members.

It's a nice morning weather wise so why not do something with the cars. I don't mean a drive but maybe a Spit n Polish hour or two to alleviate the boredom of the isolation/confinement.

Post your suggestions here and maybe a few pickie wickies of whatever you get up to. Leave the indoor chores till the shite weather returns!
