| Message: | Hello, I am currently restoring a 1966 Irish built Spitfire (7FC79710). I have found the cars original colour behind the dash. This colour does not resemble any of the triumph colours of the era and is a metallic, Most similar to the green found on Aston Martin DB4 Zagatos I believe this must have been a special order paint. Can you point me in the direction of anyone who may have information on the Irish CKD cars as BMH were unable to assist in providing details on this car. Also, I am planning on joining the owners club, How do i go about this? Regards, John |
