It does'nt prevent corrrosion from inside, it only hides it. I have learned to multiply the size of any rusty area by five. This started as a hole in the floor the size of a coke can.
This is what started as a small rusty hole in the passenger footwell of the black Dolomite. The last picture is of a typical UK get-it-through- the -MOT patch. As you can see, it was welded over rusty steel, which has been snacking away merrily on the patch for years. There are other horrors revealing themselves, including a sheet of zintec bent roughly to shape over the wing end and covered in filler. Plus more chicken wire than Cappoquin Chickens!
