Run to Skerries & Mill tour Sunday 10th.

Hi All, next Sunday (10 April) we are planning a nice little run from the usual back of the airport to Skerries. It's about a 25 to 30kms spin on nice b roads via Lusk, Rush, Loughshinny and then Skerries. The Mills in Skerries can do a tour for us at 11.30 and a special rate of E7.85 for those that have little hair remaining. All others have to fork out a massive extra E1.00. Great tour apparently and only takes 40 minutes.

So the rough plan: Meet at the Dogers car park at 10am for 10.15 odd departure for Skerries (hence allowing time for security checks). (Niall and Paddy will be needed!). Wind in the hair spin for those of you that have some. Park up in Skerries Mill (lots of spaces). Tour at 11.30 and a coffee/cake there after (inside and outside venues). Tour can be skipped in any prefer and can just drink coffee. But I'm planning on doing the tour.

Let me know please if you are thinking of the tour as I said I would let the lovely Nikki know how many to expect.

Kevin

  • WYI looked good alright but the starter motor is knackered.

  •  Excellent run this morning very enjoyable tour of Skerries Mills . Great stuff Kevin hopefully a few members will follow your lead and do a run. A few more Triumphs would be nice too. My two are getting some maintenance so Capri was put into action.  10334210663?profile=RESIZE_930x

  • yes guys more like this - well done Kevin a thoroughly enjoyable day led off first by Michael and Corina up through part of North County Dublin and the lead taken over by Kevin which ended at the windmills in Skerries- refreshments first and then tour approx an hour- excellent value at €8.50 special rate organized by Kevin

mess home about 1:30 and went for a walk passed Tony's house on way to Rahway village- WYI looking resplendent in his driveway- so yes Tony you should have been out in it - no matter with summer on its way there will plenty of opportunity to show it off

  • Looks like a great turnout Kevin. Sorry I could'nt be there myself. Fair play to you.
