Its a while since we had a 'run' post the meeting so thanks to Derek Carroll for lovely lesuirely drive from the Deadman's to Hollywood but ended up in Valleymount Co. Wicklow, the route took in Newcastle, the edge of Rathcoole, down motorway to edge of Naas, over to Blessington, Hollywood and on to Valleymount - Tea and Apple Tart was enjoyed by most who took part: Derek Keogh, Lesley Kennedy, Dave and Lorraine O'Brien, Cecil Johnston, Kevin Fitzsimons, Roger Turner and me. Ah, yes a great spit with high tea and low seats. Entertainment also provided by some aerobatic pilots that got lost looking for Bray. We enjoyed your loops lads, hope you made it home. Anyway, let’s not forget some of our other contributors on the day namely Angie and her fellow, his name escapes me but he has got good taste. And, the eventful OPW Kildare crew in their hyper Spitfire driven of course by the ‘on the limit’ the younger Rosemary, eg Trish and her able copilot our Chris. Oops, hope we haven’t forgot anyone. If we have sorry we must owe you money. Great day. The Vallemount Inn namely O’Connors now has some lovely photos to hang on the bar wall.
