  • Very nice send off for Joe! Very relaxed service sprinkled with some good humour which i'm sure Joe would have liked..and touching tributes from his family and pat S. Rip joe O' Farrell we'll see you down the road.

  • Great to see so many TCOC members and their cars present yesterday at Joe's remberance service.
As we heard at the service cars were a very very big part of Joe's life so I'm sure it was some comfort to his family to see his old TR7 and so many other Triumph cars present.
It was a 'heartfelt' service and Joe's family and friends did him proud with Lynyrd Skynyrd's 'Free Bird' bringing the service to a close.
    RIP Joe.

  • Joe's son was intouch and asked if anyone is available to bring their Triumphs to the funeral on Saturday he will appreciate it.

  • Details of Joes Final Arrangements.

Lads, Dave Stevenson's superb  pickie wickie captures Joe perfectly - a man at peace, relaxing in a chair at a classic car event, in a colourful loud shirt, his TRade mark leather Porsche sombrero perched upon his ceann, with regulation sunglasses on it; and it couldn't be Joe unless there was a naked flame coming out of the top!!! TRademark cigar gripped lightly t'ween fingers, impish grin, clean shaven affording a boyish look, remarkably few crows feet that life indents upon us; no doubt thinking of where his next guitar would come from.

Dave I applaud your skill in capturing the Real Joe, that genuine kind friendly fella who would, without being asked,  just turn up to offer help for whatever mechanical malady one had, not for reward but simply because he was one of life's Gentleman.

Joe, was an absolute pleasure knowing you but  so much more for the conversations we had about so many things, pity is, for now our continuing one on grandchildren will have to be postponed for a little while.........PiBren
