Message:	Hello I write to enquire if you could advise where I could get a genuine Lucas Drive clutch assembly for a Lucas starter motor M418G -- Lucas starter ref.. 25541 F/H 57. or indeed a similar starter motor in need of refurbishment. This starter motor is from my 1957 TR3 which I brought down to Teranure earlier this year -- unfortunately the mechanism within sheared and is not fixable hence my enquiry to your selves. Unfortunately the starter motor is the other type, the type with shroud ...and would need to be of the typed as noted in the Lucas reference number and manufactured 1956/57...

There will be a starter motor in somebodies shed or in deed a replacement assembly on a shelf ,in a box ...just a question of finding the part ..
