Meeting arrangement for this event revised after organisers indicated a 10;00 am start - had an Applegreen Brekkie and hit the road for 9:15 arrived in Moynalty 10:30 ish, as it turned out since we were in our Triumph's the €5 entrance was waived - parked up and had a wander around, it was noticable at the lack of 'machinery' on the day - no Threshing mahines
What you missed at the AUTOJUMBLE
What you missed of the CAR SHOW
Having gone around the autjumble (10 times) and the few classic cars (in a damp wet field) we sat around had coffee and biccies and decided we had enough at 12:30 and headed for home; Luke, Trish and Chris went one way, Les headed for the M3, and Cecil and myself went on the most fantastic drive missing out on M Routes and occasionally hitting the N51 but the best bit was the R roads that bypassed Slane and the best bit was the dense fog that plagued the drive up had burned off to give ideal top down driving. All in all a successful day out.
Hi Joe that's the American way of writing the date they put month 1st then date you obviously didn't set your computer to English UK
Morning JoeO in case you haven't noticed today is Saturday and the Date is the 9th of October so I think that means tomorrow is Sunday and the Date for tomorrow will be the 10/10/21.
See you in Moynalty on Monday.
I hear the Steam boys are very quiet this year as insurances were not renewed due to Pandemic and lockdowns
As far as I'm aware this is only an Auto Jumble, open to correction from the more knowlagble.
Chris spoke to the organiser and there is a car show and auto jumble. There is no indoor dining as previous due to covid restrictions but there will be tea/coffee and it is €5 entry. Can bring a snack with us
