Good man, our TCOC Roving reporter BrissieBren - no jurisdiction too far!
what was the scram like? Full report on your return, please!

Sorry to have missed the first meeting of 2024 but still down under in Brisbane Australia. Down this way there is the Register Australia, part of the TR Register UK and the TSOAQ which covers all TRiumphs with the Q denoting Queensland. The TSOAQ equates with the TCOC in that they are quite social with about 150 members, met some of them on Sunday 18th at a 'brekkie meeting' in the Botanic Gardens which is quite near where I am staying. While there were a good 30 members present there were only 3 TRiumphs in the car park
p.s. tried to edit photos- at least they are not upside down !!
Great meeting today everyone all very positive. Looking forward to the coming years events and getting out in the cars for some great drives. 👍
I think the quote of the day was "I think we need a bigger boat " huge turnout of members today new and not so new .
So keep an eye 👁 on the events calendar for updates on upcoming events. If anyone would like to add an event please do. Just watsap or old fashioned text me the info and I will post it.
Thanks D.C.
Yep great turnout and good banter had! Roll on the spring and summer!
Hi Paddy, Simon,
to me that's is very good news, I am a TRReg member since long time, the TRRegister UK is a very professionally run one for enthusiasts by enthusiasts- I know Mick Forey personally and a lovely lad. I would think it can only be positive for the TCOC, as classic car clubs membership are dwindling it makes complete sense to affiliate to a larger more influential Club - just as we should be affiliated to the IVVCC, the largest most influential Club in Ireland( I believe there are movements.....).
look forward, like Niall to reading the Q&As.
Well done for the engagement , after all both Clubs are Triumph Clubs.

Are we not already affiliated to the IVVCC I think we used to be for a yearly fee.
Not currently but i can look into that during the week and will report back on here
Hi all,
as outlined in the post below, there has been an invitation extended to the TCOC to be an affiliate club of the TR Register UK. The committee asked a good few questions of the tr international vice chairman mick forey with regards to our obligations, pros, cons, etc etc of being an affiliate club. It is however, only chatter at the moment and ultimately it will be up to members to decide via agm vote whether or not to accept the offer. I will bring along a comprehensive list of answers to the questions we put to them for discussion at sunday's meeting. I would encourage members to attend on sunday in order to express enthusiasm, concerns and to give input in general on this whole idea.
Hope to see you then!
Regards,
Paddy
Thanks Paddy if possible will you post the Q/A after Sundays Meeting as I'd be very interested in seeing them,Cheers.
Hi Niall, detailed Q&A's will be included in the minutes whenever simon gets a chance to type up and post them. I can pm you with as many points of interest as possible after meeting👍
Cheers
Paddy
