Well done Gerry. Most enjoyable weekend. Highpoint for me (no pun intended ) was our hill walking up to the crash site to pay our respects to the young pilots that lost their lives.
Landing gear still there and amazing to see some chrome still intact.

All set and route checked for our Poker run next Saturday, meet 9.30 Brock Inn,Old Ashbourne Road for brekkie, leave at 11 for scenic run to Dundalk for lunch, visit county Museum then go to Cooley Mountains to Gravity Hill and 1942 air crash site of the liberator war plane, greatest loss of life in a non combat situation, (Bring good boots as going Off road)then retire to Carrickdale Hotel ( Bring Swimwear )for our meal and prize-giving . Just booked single room for self. Was chatting to Catherine about room rates and she has received agreement to restore rates to the excellent prices which Gerry acquired, namely
105 or 115. So, suggest you grab a room before they have to put them up again.
