Ireland’s Ancient East

I've had a preliminary look at potential run possibilities for sites south east of Dublin and the following are some options for consideration:

Irish National Heritage Park - Ferrycarrig. Approximately 1hour 45 mins from Dublin. Breakfast in either Mount Usher Gardens (posh) or Jack Whites (unposh). This Park has loads to offer and many happy hours could be spent here. Refreshments on site also. Check the website. Suggest a non BH Sunday in July or August.

Kilmacurragh Botanical Gardens - Kilbride. 45 mins from Dublin. Plenty of breakfast options for this half day TRip. Check website

Johnstown Castle- 2 hours from Dublin. Check website

Hook Lighthouse - 2.5 hours from Dublin - possible overnighter

Perhaps we could spend a few minutes on Sunday next to gauge potential uptake of any above possibilities and I will then proceed with arrangements or not, as necessary.

Thanks

Pat
