Hi folks,
John White is putting on a first aid course for club members on sat 27th January in the same room our club meetings take place @deadman's inn. Start time 10.30am with course duration expected to be approx 3 hours. I would encourage all members not familiar with first aid measures and defibrillator operation procedures to take part. Well worthwhile. The course is free of charge. John will take it from here with a more detailed description re the course content. Please enter your name below if you wish to take part.
Regards,
Paddy.

I had the privilege of attending John's first course in Weston (our meeting place at the time) and I can vouch for his expertise and presentation skills and a lot of the information has stayed with me but I feel confident I would know what to do should the need arise.
I am currently in Brisbane Australia and a news item only yesterday were discussing the merits of a a mandatory First Aid / CPR course for all new Driving Test candidates, so it might only be a matter of time before our authorities follow suit.
As the saying goes; I'm glad I did that, instead of I'm sorry I didn't do that
See you all at the AGM
