Got this electroplating kit from classic plating ltd in the UK. Very handy indeed. Great for restoring old nuts, bolts, and many other bits and bobs. Gives a bright zinc/nickel finish and provides great corrosion protection. The kid includes a yellow and blue passivate solution that provides extra corrosion resistance to the part when dipped in these solutions post plating. Also gives the part that 'off the shelf' new look.
I bought a separate bench power supply for 45quid on ebay. The one in the kit is basic and only has a volts readout when Amps is what needs to be strictly controlled during the process. They say 100mA per square inch so best to calculate the approx surface area of your parts before plating. Too high a current results in heavy powdery zinc and nickel deposits and poor adherance. Better to set amps low (100mA) and just let the part stew a bit longer in the electrolyte. Great results...getting better with each go! Anybody wants any brackets or bolts etc done let me know i'd be happy to help out🤠
Paddy.

Very good. Need a bigger bath for Dolomite bumpers!
