  • I would have to agree with Tom on this one.  Unless you are directly in front of the speaker the tent and road noise makes it very difficult to hear.  We should now go back to booking the back lounge for future meetings.

After all we were all inside for breakfast without any problems.

    • Joe, trust me, ye didn't miss much

  • Was that a Show of Hands or Ces showing of his New Cap.

  • The committee probably has sorted this, but as of the September 20, the numbers inside in now up to a hundred. I found the last meeting, the only one I've been at all year, very noisy as it sits on the motorway. Can we have it inside in our original room so those members that are hard of hearing, Dan and I, can hear the chairman speak. Of course, only fully vaccinated with Covid passport members can then attend. Members who come for breakfast will be checked by staff. I leave it in your capable hands .

  • As the EGM is scheduled for Sunday 26th September 2021 in the Deadmans with a start time of 10:30 am and the agenda will be;

    1. Introduction / Welcome

    2. Chairmans Report

    3. Secretary's Report

    4. Events Report

    5. The Herald

    6.New Aspects to Events

    7. Christmas Party

    8. Forum / Communications

    9. Club Equipment

    10. Any Other Business

Members with any other issues for discussion should forward them by text, e.mail, etc, to any member of the committee on or before WEDNESDAY 22nd September

Hope to see you all Sunday week.

  • U buying?

  • Jesus Derek, what forecast do you use?  Best I can do is a 10 day forecast.  This meeting is not until the end of next month.
we do have a normal monthly meeting this Sunday I think and I for one will be having breakfast.  We should indeed have a run afterwards but stay away from the mountains.  What about a spin up to Slane  Castle after the meeting ( I think Tony had a route planned for a previous trip on nice roads up to slane) where we could have coffee and stay for an hour or so.  Just a thought....

    • Spin up to Slane or anywhere else sounds good . Except for mountains ⛰.  Tommy's mates have the place wrecked.

    • Ahaaaa I see now says the blind 👨‍🦯man . I thought it was next Sunday 🤔. Panic over.

    • It's an Extraordinarily, not Emergency general meeting
