Now that the schools are finished up, the morning traffic is a lot quieter, so I have been floating the idea of a few of us meeting up of a morning, taking a spin somewhere and finishing up for a bite to eat. The Time frame would be meet up at 9.30-10 am and we would be on our way home by 1.30 at the latest.
So if you are retired, unemployed, loafing around or otherwise a burden on society, would you be interested? Sure beats letching over Rachel Riley's arse on Countdown!
I was thinking about the first run being a spin around North Co. Dublin/ South Meath and stopping at the Chuck Wagon on the old Balbriggan road for a spot of artery hardening nosh.
Anybody interested?

Well Joe - as the title suggests "Burdens on Society" clearly demonstrates that the run is a leisurely pace and that we have time to refuel, so I can only assume that your comment 'most enjoyable' refers to this task also !!!!!!!!
Well done Tony, most enjoyable. Can't believe Bren is a tel tale saying I needed ⛽️. After all I was in the six and stops for petrol are never too far apart ( so Bren walls tells me). Super idea Tony well done.
Just back from Tony's Run around North Dublin / South Meath - met at Airside headed off towards back of Airport then up to Ballyboughal (fuel stop for Chairman's car) then on to Naul for photo opportunity and roundezvous with Cecil - on up the R108 to Bellewstown then took a right to Julianstown to head for Balbriggan and Skerries and the Windmill - stopped for refreshments as Frank had a bootful of goodies (so the Chuck Wagon lost out on this occasion) - craic and chat was good - well done Tony for organising a lovely lesuirely pace - more of that please "Dr")
