Bohernabreena Show July 7th

Hi all.  

I have just been intouch with the organisers of this show. We will be very welcome to put some of our cars on display.  Not sure yet how much space they have at this stage . They suggested 12 I have asked for 24 .

It's a free to enter show all costs covered by sponsorship.  There a couple of charities mentioned that they will be asking for donations on the day. 

The site for show is on a 25 acre field behind St.Annes Church Bohernabreena. Precovid they ran a very successful Tractor and country fair/show for many years. 

Looks like it could be a great day out . I will post more info as I get it

    Thanks to Derek and all who assisted in making the most of our Club presence at this event. Well done for all the efforts resulting in a most enjoyable event.

    Hi DC,the organisation on the Day went extremely well and the credit must go to yourself and other Members who gave up their spare time on Saturday to have the Club Tent up and the whole area ready for an early arrival on Sunday morning as then when Members arrived on Sunday Morning all they had to do was slot into an allocated space of which we had plenty and enjoy what turned out to be a great Show.

    Well Done DC and many thanks to the organising Committee of the Bohernabreena Classic Car Show who organised a great Show on the Day.

      And of course thanks to you Niall for bringing the Queen Ann providing tea coffee etc. And organising parking display . Hat off to the organising committee for a free first time classic car show . A lot of other organising committees should take note.

    We are looking for volunteers to meet up on Saturday the 6th to set up our stand. We will meet at 9am on site. If anyone is unavailable on day of show please let me know.

      Sorry Derek I can't make setup. I wouldn't be much use as I fell through deck board and injured my knee.

      Yeah it's getting a bit easier now. Swelling on the knee is going down a bit but I had to stop taking the anti-inflammatories as they were making me feel really weird!!
