What an exhausting year it has been so far and we haven't blown the cobwebs out off our cylinders yet . Where has the year gone. Just so long as its not the decade.

Starting time : 8.50

Meeting point : Spawell

Departure : 9.00 am sharp

Route : Staight down the N81 , through Tallaght and Blessington to Hollywood.

Venue : Hollywood Post Office Cafe. They are opening the cafe early at 9.30 to accomodate the club. This way , we can be assured of tables inside or out at a social distance for the cocooners / vunerable members. ie. Joe, Pat , Les, Martin, Kevin........Fcuk it...every member.

Afterwards:It will be discussed on a full stomach after breakfast, what sort of a run the members would like to go on, if any.

Note: Members who wish to meet us there , are welcome. The genisis of the BHMBR, was to meet early and be home early for family commitments and not to upset Gerry 'cos it's early. The club rule still stands, that all members, especially 6 owners, arrive at meeting point with a full tank of fuel.

  • Early start as had to get 'gogo juice' and air in the tyres and get from Clontarf to Spawell before 8:50 or suffer the wrath of Tom, Sun promised by weatherman but it was bloody cold and Sun didn't come out till 1:10 pm as I pulled in the drive after an 88mile run - very good scram and believe it or not I actually ate the sausage.

The early start ensured a clutter free run down the N81 to the Hollywood Inn - after breakfast everybody did their own thing - I decided to go back through Dunlavin which brought me to the R448 and back into Naas and I then used the 'old' road back to Saggart and back to the N81 and home through town.

So well done Tom for organising the Hollywood Inn for the 'brekkie' and well done all member's who supported the event - till we meet again
